Online HVAC Estimates From Any Device

Five minutes, a few photos, no home visit. That's an online estimate from Jormechanical Air, and it works on a phone, tablet or laptop, from wherever you're sitting right now.

Nobody has to walk through your house, and there's no visit window to wait out. We price the job from your photos and one short call. Once you say yes, our HVAC technicians come out for install day.

Which Systems Can You Get Estimates For?

From a whole-house air conditioner to a ductless mini-split for one sunroom, we can price it from your photos. Here's what moves the number on each.

  • Air Conditioner Installation & Replacement

A central air conditioner is the go-to for most homes with working ductwork, since it cools through the ducts you already have. Its price hangs on the size your house needs (1 to 5 tons) and the SEER2 rating you pick.

  • Heat Pump Installation & Replacement

Heat pumps are most of what we install. One outdoor unit cools the house in August and heats it in January. Size sets the bulk of the cost, and the backup heat strip kit adds to it.

  • Ductless Mini-Split Installation & Replacement

Sunroom, garage gym or an older home the ducts never reached? A ductless mini-split cools and heats it through small wall-mounted heads. Each room usually gets its own head, so your room count drives the number.

  • Furnace Installation & Replacement

Your furnace or air handler is the indoor cabinet, and in most Orlando homes it holds electric heat strips. Rust, leaks or a new rattle are common signs it's wearing out. What a new one costs depends on whether the outdoor unit gets replaced too, and on the space the new cabinet has to fit.

From Photo to Price in Three Steps

  1. 1. Photograph the Label, Answer a Few Questions

One clear photo of the label on your outdoor unit tells Jormechanical Air the model, the size and the year it went in. A few quick answers about your house cover most of what a visit would show us.

  2. 2. We Plan Around Your Exact Setup

Hall closet, garage or attic? That's where most indoor units live in Central Florida homes, and each spot changes how the new one goes in. Your estimate is built around yours.

  3. 3. We Call, Then Send Your Price

We see your request the moment it comes in and call you back during business hours. Your estimate follows through Housecall Pro by text or email, with one full price on each option.

Snap These for a Faster Estimate

Not sure what to shoot? Start with the label and work your way inside. Every photo you tick off below saves a question on the call.

  • Find the metal sticker on its side. It lists the model, size and build year.

  • Step back a few feet so we can see the pad and what's around it.

  • Open the closet door or attic hatch, and fit the whole cabinet in one shot.

  • Check the side or inside the door panel. It tells us the indoor size.

  • One quick photo shows whether it can run a new system or needs swapping.

  • Open the panel door so we can read the breaker that feeds your system.

  • Which room runs hottest? Show us its windows and the afternoon sun they let in.

Eight Checks for Any HVAC Estimate

Already holding a quote, or three? Run each one through this list, ours included, and tick what it gets right. A careful estimate comes from someone who studied your system and asked good questions, not a number pulled from a chart.

  • A new system's price should start from your old one's label. If nobody read it, the number is a guess.

  • Rooms that run warm, a breaker that trips. A careful estimator asks about both before naming a number.

  • If your system has good years left, you should hear that first.

  • A new thermostat or a dehumidifier should each carry its own price, so you can take it or leave it.

  • Could you tell a neighbor what tonnage and SEER2 mean after the call? If not, ask again.

  • Pressure to sign today is a warning sign. A fair estimate still holds up after a night's sleep.

  • If a company says it calls back during business hours, that's when your phone should ring.

  • The estimate shouldn't be your last chance to ask. A good company picks up when you call back.

Two Financing Options for Your New System

Like the price but not the lump sum? Your estimate arrives with a Wisetack link on it, so you can check payment plans the moment you read your price. Checking won't touch your credit score, and every plan is subject to credit approval.

Picking a high-efficiency system? Florida PACE is your second option. It's repaid through your property tax bill and has no minimum credit score, though each county decides whether to offer it. Enter your address on floridapace.gov to see if your home qualifies.

What People Ask About Online Estimates

How accurate is an online HVAC estimate?

It's as good as the photos and answers behind it. A clear shot of the outdoor unit's label and a short call cover most replacements. If something needs a closer look, we'll ask for another photo or come out before we put a price on it.

How do I find my air conditioner's model number?

Look for the metal label on the side or back of the outdoor unit. The model number usually sits near the top, with the serial number below it. The serial number often holds the build year, and we can read it for you.

How can I tell my air conditioner's size?

Check the model number. Most brands put the size in it as a number like 24, 36, or 48, meaning 2, 3, or 4 tons. Send us a photo of the label with your request, and we'll read it for you.

How many HVAC quotes should I get?

Two or three is plenty for most homeowners. More than that tends to blur the details instead of clearing them up. When you compare, line up the system size and what each price includes, then ask each company to explain any gap you find.

Is a second opinion worth it before replacing?

Often, yes, especially if you were told to replace a system under 10 years old. A second look can confirm that call or turn up a repair that buys more time. If a repair is the better choice, that's what we'll tell you.
