Every HVAC Brand Serviced With Local Parts
That includes homes with a different brand indoors and out.
Jormechanical Air repairs, services and installs Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, Daikin and the other brands listed below, across Orlando and Central Florida. We buy equipment and parts from about seven local supply houses, all within ten minutes of us. That means less waiting for the part your system needs.
Because those suppliers carry many brands, no single manufacturer decides what we recommend. Our suggestion is based on your home's size, your budget and what is in stock nearby. The one thing we don't work on is water heaters, from any brand. That's plumbing work, and we focus on heating and cooling.
Six Big HVAC Brands Found in Orlando Homes
These six names show up on heating and cooling systems all over Central Florida. Jormechanical Air is independently owned and run from Orlando, with no private-equity backer, and works on all six. Here are two quick facts about each brand.
Carrier
Willis Carrier built the first modern air conditioning system in 1902. We install new Carrier systems and fix older ones.
His first system controlled humidity at a Brooklyn printing plant. Removing moisture is still a big part of cooling in Florida.
Trane
One company, Trane Technologies, owns both Trane and American Standard. We install and repair both brands.
Trane's story began in 1885, when James Trane opened a plumbing shop in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Lennox
Lennox began in 1895 as a furnace maker in Marshalltown, Iowa. We fit new Lennox systems and keep older ones running.
Lennox sells its own-brand equipment and parts to contractors through its own chain of Lennox Stores.
Goodman
Daikin has owned Goodman since 2012. We supply new Goodman systems and service existing ones.
Goodman systems are built at the Daikin Texas Technology Park, home to Goodman's factories and headquarters since 2017.
Rheem
Ruud is part of the Rheem family of brands. We fit new systems from both and service them too.
Rheem also makes water heaters and pool heaters, so you may see the Rheem name on more than one appliance at home.
Daikin
Daikin made Japan's first packaged air conditioner in 1951. We install and service its heat pumps and ductless mini-splits.
Many Daikin models use inverter compressors. These speed up and slow down to match how much cooling your home needs.

How to Find Your System's Size and Age
Every outdoor unit and indoor unit has a label called a data plate. It lists the brand, the model number and the serial number. Those two numbers tell you the system's size and age.
Find the Data Plate on Each Unit
Outdoors, look on the side of the unit near the electrical panel. Indoors, check the air handler, the unit in your garage, closet or attic. Its plate is usually on the side of the cabinet or on the access door.
The Model Number Shows the Size
Most model numbers include a two-digit code such as 24, 36 or 48. It shows cooling capacity in thousands of BTUs (a standard unit of heat) per hour. One ton equals 12,000 BTUs per hour, so a 36 means a 3-ton system.
The Serial Number Shows the Age
On Goodman and Amana units, the first two digits are the year and the next two are the month, so 2003 means March 2020. On most recent Carrier units, the third and fourth digits are the year. Age helps you weigh a repair against a new system.
If the label is out of reach or too worn to read, leave it to us. Our HVAC technicians read it on the first visit, even in a hot attic, and tell you the system's size and age.

Three Checks Before You Buy a New System
Before you accept any quote, check these three things, whatever brand it names. Each one shows whether the system was planned for your home. A good contractor will explain all three without any fuss.
A Manual J Load Calculation
Manual J is the industry-standard way to work out how much heating and cooling your home needs. It works room by room. It comes from ACCA, the national contractors' association that Jormechanical Air belongs to. Ask to see the report, because a size picked without one is a guess.
An AHRI Number for the Matched Pair
Your outdoor unit and the indoor coil must be tested together to earn their efficiency rating. AHRI, the industry group that certifies them, gives each tested pair a reference number. Ask for that number. Then look it up for free at ahridirectory.org and check that the rating matches your quote.
Startup Readings on Your Invoice
After a new system starts, the installer should measure the refrigerant charge and the airflow and compare them with the manufacturer's targets. This step is called commissioning. Ask for the readings on your final invoice. They show the system was set up right on install day.
Missing one? Ask the contractor to add it before you sign. On every air conditioning replacement and heat pump replacement, Jormechanical Air sizes the system with a load calculation and lists the exact equipment on the quote. We take startup readings when the system is first turned on.
Financing Options for Every Brand We Install
How you pay shouldn't decide which brand you get. Both HVAC financing options below work with any brand Jormechanical Air installs, from Carrier to Daikin, and neither one ties you to a manufacturer.
Wisetack Monthly Payments
New systems cost more in 2026, partly because of the switch to new refrigerants. Wisetack financing, subject to credit approval, can cover the equipment and labor in one loan. Applying won't change the brand, model or price we quoted.
Based on credit approval and the price of your job
Florida PACE Funding
Florida PACE (Property Assessed Clean Energy) can pay for the high-efficiency model of any brand we install. It has its own rules, separate from Wisetack. Eligibility depends on your property, and we'll go over it with you.
Based on your property and the system's efficiency rating
Brand Deals Can Push You Toward One Model
Some manufacturers offer their own financing deals. These deals often cover only certain models, so they can push you toward a unit before anyone has checked what your home needs.
Our HVAC technicians size your system first, using the load calculation above. Then you pick the brand and the way you pay, with all the facts in front of you.

Who repairs Trane and Carrier systems in Orlando?
Jormechanical Air does, for Trane and Carrier units of any age across Central Florida. Many of these repairs involve refrigerant, and federal law requires EPA 608 certification to handle it. We hold that certification, so the work is done legally and safely.
Can I get a new Lennox or Daikin system?
Yes. Jormechanical Air installs Lennox, Daikin and every other major brand in Orlando homes. Each one comes with our 1-year installation labor warranty. Lennox and Daikin both sell several efficiency levels, so compare the same level when you weigh them.
Do you warranty repairs on systems others installed?
Yes. Our 90-day repair warranty covers repairs on systems other companies installed, on every brand we fix. Our coverage starts the day we finish. If the first installer's labor warranty is still active, check it first, because that repair may already be paid for.
Can I switch brands on a replacement?
Yes, and many homeowners do. Your ducts usually work with any major brand, so switching rarely means new ductwork. Choose based on the warranty and how easy parts are to find. We'll price the brand you want and tell you if another fits better.
Which HVAC brand do you recommend for Orlando?
No one brand is best for every Orlando home. We start with the load calculation and the efficiency you want, then show you the brands that meet it. Most major manufacturers build reliable equipment, so price and availability usually decide.
Start With the Label on Your Unit
Call or book online, and keep each unit's label nearby. We'll explain, in plain words, what those numbers mean for a repair, a tune-up or a new system.
